SENIOR IMPACT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

 A. GENERAL INFORMATION:

 B. MAIN ROLES AND DUTIES:

The role of a (Senior) Impact Development Specialist is vital in driving the organization's impact development initiatives and effectively conveying its mission and outcomes to various stakeholders. This role involves engaging and effectively communicating with external audiences to build support and understanding of the organization's social and environmental impact.

Here are some criteria for the role and main duties:

1/ Impact Development and Management (60%)

• Funding and Sponsorship Development: Collaborate with the Head of Impact Development to implement fund and sponsorship development plans in accordance with ethical principles. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of fundraising efforts and initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engage and communicate with external stakeholders, including communities, beneficiaries, and partners, to understand their needs and concerns related to impact initiatives and sponsorships.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee the collection and analysis of relevant data, ensuring accuracy and integrity, and providing actionable decision-making insights.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor funding/ sponsorship progress and project advancement; prepare comprehensive impact reports and documentation to share key findings, progress and outcomes with stakeholders, including donors and partners.

2/ Communication (20%)

• Content Creation: Closely work with Head of Impact Development to create compelling content, including stories of impact, success stories, case studies, showcasing the organization's achievements and communicating its mission to mass audiences.
• Social Media Management: Utilize Sống Foundation's social media channels and website to reach a broader audience and raise awareness of the Sống Foundation’s programs and initiatives.
• Newsletters, Reports, and Other communications: Implement and deliver to constituents of the Sống Community.

3/ Administration and others (20%)

• Write and manage official letters/administrative documents to inform authorities about fundraising events and activities of Sống Foundation; donation/sponsorship contracts and liquidations.
• Implement and manage financial payments related to fundraising activities.
• Manage the portfolio of the foundation's partners (businesses, social organizations…); sponsorship databases; sponsorship report management.
• Other duties as needed based on actual circumstances. 

C. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Analytical Skills: Interpret data and make informed decisions
• Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills, including Vietnamese and English.
• Collaboration: A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
• Self-learning and Self-motivation: The ability to gain new knowledge, take initiative and drive impact-related initiatives independently.

D. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications; international relations or related fields is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in businesses, social organizations, communication agencies.
• Analytical and creative mind to identify sponsorship opportunities and approach sponsors.
• Knowledge of and experience with social media tools, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
